Wanda J. Owens

Wanda J. Owens, 60, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022.  She was born May  23, 1961 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of May E. (Webb) and Norval Owens Sr. She had been employed by Community Hospital.

Wanda was her name, but we all called her "Chatty".  Chatty loved movies and sports of all kind, but she was a die hard Bengals fan.  Chatty loved her sweets, chocolates to be exact.  Chatty was known for her "Dramaticness" and was always speaking her mind.  She loved her family, Mommy most of all.  Chatty will be so missed by her one of a kind personality.  She had the presence that would light up a room.  Wanda loved her music and we will miss the story about how she and her brother had seen Michael Jackson.

Wanda is survived by her mother, Mary (Webb) Owens; daughter, Kartina (Tiffany Bishop) Owens; 4 grandchildren, Candice Anderson, Precious Mundy, Walter Sanford III and Princess (Tyler) Mundy; great grandchildren, E'Meir, Jayvier, Emery, Czance and Tylen and newest edition, Kyler; sisters; Brenda Owens and Sharon Pettiford; brother, Aaron (Tony) Bray and a special niece, Asia Janine Mays and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Barbie Mack, Charlene and Carolene Minter, Mary (Tony) Bray and Harold (Tee) Collins.  She was preceded in death by her father, Norval D. Owens Sr.; brothers, Norval (Alicia) Owens and Terry (Jamie) Owens, daughter, Catherine B. Owens; great grandchildren, Diontez and Da'Niyah McWhorter; nephew, Donte Hernadez and a special sister/friend, Pamela Snodgrass Ransome

  Visitation is Saturday, May 2022 from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home..
