Sharon Marie (Hickman) Birden

Sharon Marie Birden, 74, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 21, 1949, to Clifford and Esther Hickman. Sharon graduated from South High School in 1967 and went on to attend Central State University. 

Sharon was a devoted wife to her husband of 54 years, a mother, grandmother, sister and friend. After retiring from Speedway Corporate Office, she enjoyed her time shopping and was a huge sports fan. She loved to cheer for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Cincinnati Bengals football teams, and on a good day you might hear her yelling for Steph Curry and his Golden State Warriors. 

 Sharon leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her husband, Earl; her two children, Aaron (Ericka) Birden and Angela (Anthony) Harris; grandchildren, Courtney Birden, Quincy Scott, Ayron Birden and Yoshua Birden; three bonus granddaughters and several great grandchildren. One brother, Michael (Diane) Hickman and sister-In-law, Debra Thomas. Sharon also leaves to cherish her memory, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as special sister and best friend, Sherry Rosser and brother-in-law, Brad Canavan. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Arthur and Clifford Hickman. 

 A memorial service will be held on Friday October 27, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1010 Dibert Avenue Springfield, Ohio 45506 There will be a Repast for close family beginning at 1 p.m. at The “L” ,1530 S. Yellow Springs Street, Springfield, Ohio 45506.
