Robert W. “Bobby” Bradford Jr. passed away January 4, 2023 in Dayton, Ohio. He was born to Robert W. and Arlene (Lytle) Bradford Sr. in Springfield, Ohio on September 17, 1940, the eldest of six children.
Bobby was a graduate of Springfield South High School. He retired from Navistar International after 32 years of service. As an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, Bobby coached the Springfield Tigers football team for 15 years and refereed for the Ohio Athletic Association (OHAA) for 50 years.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memory two loving children, a son, Phillip Bradford of McCombs, MS and a daughter, Kamadi Bradford of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amonte’ Miller of Fayetteville, NC, Brieuanna Humphrey of Huber Heights, Ohio and Richard Harris Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; great granddaughter, Arieyon “Lil Bit” Ferrel; three sisters, Rita Long and Carol Thompson of Springfield, Ohio and Tammy (Rick) Vance of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Jeffrey Bradford of Springfield, Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, Sharon Borders, Marti Nooks, Robyn Bloodsaw and Shanna Bloodsaw, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and long time friends, Pastor Bruce Jones, Mike Sims and Thurman Leggs. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Cecil Bradford and sister, Beverly Young
