Rhonda K. (Ragland) Underwood

Rhonda Kay “Katie” Underwood was born October 3, 1958 in Springfield, Ohio.  She was called Home to be with the Lord in Gurnee, Illinois on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 7:35 p.m.

Rhonda was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended Jesus Name Apostolic Church, pastor John Capules in Gurnee, Illinois. 

She was a joy to be around and always wore the brightest smile.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Joan (Orr) Ragland Sr.; brothers, Marcus Ragland and Benson Ragland.  Katie leaves to cherish her memory her son, Von Kashif Underwood; sisters, Monica Ragland, Udora Ragland, Alfreda “Buffy” Ragland and Lecretia Edley; brothers, Earl Ragland, Rodney Ragland and Alfred (Jody) Ragland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation is Monday, January 3, 2022 from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. in Greater Grace Temple.  Burial will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery.
