Phyllis Nicole Harding

Phyllis Nicole “Nikki” Harding, 44, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 10, 2022. She was born on May 4, 1978 to Patti (Harding) Peacock and Jerry Walker, Sr., in Xenia, OH. She graduated from Springfield South High School & Sinclair Community College. Nikki devoted her life to being a mother to her son, Tahliil Lanier & daughter, Kamiyah Banks. She was an adoring grandmother to her two granddaughters, Zaihlynn Moss & Na'riea Hypes.

Nikki was always full of life and laughter. She cherished her family and was  there for friends and family without hesitations. She had a one-of-a-kind personality with a firecracker attitude but was also the calm to the storm when someone else needed her. She loved her siblings, nieces & nephews like no other.

Survivors include her mother, children & granddaughters; husband, Kevin Banks; stepfather, David Peacock; siblings, Maurice (Candace) Williams, Brian (Marrita) Harding, Jerry Walker, Jr., Jeffrey Walker, Xenia Walker, Shalanda Walker, Jerri Lynn Walker, Mieko Burrage, Twana Jones, Michaela Jones, Desiree Williams, Rahni Williams, Aaron Rowe, Anthony Rowe and Valeria (Cade) Parks and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.

In addition to her family, Nikki had a host of special friends that she loved & cherished, including, Raina Beal, Erica Kinnel, Miesha Osasona, Gail Taylor & cousins, Sherrell Rockhold, Tamara Harding & Connie Mustin.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Joseph & Jessie Harding; paternal grandmother, Mary Walker; aunt, Maryann Faulkner & special cousin, Xavier Harding.

A celebration of Nikki’s life will be held at Greater Grace Temple 380 W. Leffel Lane, Springfield, Ohio on Saturday, November 19, 2022 with a viewing beginning at 11am. Funeral services will begin at noon with Pastor Doug Owens officiating. Graveside services will follow at Stevenson-Jones Cemetery, Jones Rd., Xenia Township. Services are being provided by Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
