Paul Timothy Duewson, 41, of Springfield Ohio passed away February 17th 2015. He was born in Detroit Michigan, August 17th 1973. Paul has such an infectious smile, and was always wearing it well. He always thought he was bigger than he was. David would like to share a couple stories. When they were approx 11 and 12, David being the big bad brother (yet smaller than Paul) was sort of in a little fight with someone twice his size, all Paul could see from behind was what he thought was this guy getting the best of David, but not the case at all, so here comes Paul from behind with a broom and he chased this huge guy down the street with a broomstick. And another one was trick or treating one year, when Paul thinking he was so tough, was scared away running and screaming when the Vampire jumped out at him. He was always good for a laugh. Paul loved the Incredible Hulk, with his favorite color therefore being green when he was younger, then as he grew older his color was blue. Paul was separated from the family for many years. We will never know why or what led him to where he was going. But against all odds, just about a year ago, my brother David received a letter from Paul asking for nothing more than forgiveness from the family. We loved Paul no matter what, no matter the time or the miles apart. We were just glad, even though for such a short time, he was a part of our life again. Therefore we do believe God works in mysterious ways, he brought Paul back to us for a reason. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary Duewson, and his sister Sheila Jane Sheer. He is survived by one daughter, Christian Ashley Duewson, of Pompano Beach Florida; his grandmother, Idella Callahan Cook of Springfield Ohio; one brother, David Sheer; 5 sisters, Belinda Schaefer, Rebecca Burris, Sharon Sheer, Jeanette Pajot and Louise Brown, 17 nieces, 13 nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sadly Paul left behind a daughter that he was never able to reconnect with, but she is with us now. We will in Paul's honor, get to know her again and try to sort through things together, one day at a time. Paul has taken with him a huge piece of our hearts. He will forever be missed.
