Nathan H. Beavers Jr

On January 6, 2015 God opened His gates and took His precious angel with Him. Nathan H. Beavers was born on August 6, 1928 in Talladega, Alabama to Lucy (Vine) and Nathan H. Beavers, Sr. Nathan has served his country and community. First as a J.A.G. lawyer and then as a local lawyer in private practice. Nathan also served as both an assistant Pastor for 40 years and Pastor of 30 years of Faith Baptist Church. Nathan also belonged to several esteemed organizations. He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Nathan was a 32nd Degree Mason with Champion Lodge #15. He was the President of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance for several years. Nathan is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Joyce (Neal) Beavers; one sister, Sally (Beavers) Scott; two sons and one daughter, two step-daughters and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nathan was preceded in death by his mother Lucy (Vine) Beavers and his father Nathan H. Beavers Sr.
