Martin Harris

Martin Wesley Harris gained his wings on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Springfield Ohio at the age of 45. Martin AKA “Marty D” was born July 25th 1977 to Guy & Vera Harris. Marty was a diehard football fan and loved watching his Michigan Wolverines on Saturday and his Pittsburg Steelers on Sunday. In his spare time he loved listening to music and he kept Tupac on repeat. He had a passion for reading, fact checking and dropping knowledge to those around him. When he was with his family and friends, he loved to dance and party and his laugh and  smile would light up a room. At any given time, Marty would take off walking and you would see him around the city rappin, hanging out and just being “Marty D”.

Marty’s memory will be cherished by his oldest brother, Anthony (Angela) Harris; his children, Chebrya Tiara Jeffrey, Martez Dapree Harris, Malakih Guy Wesley Harris, Martavius Alexander Harris, Da’Niyah Nicole Clay, Da’Nasia Nashea Harris and his grandson, Adrian Dapree Harris, many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and people who truly loved him; special brothers include Duncan (Elaina) Bradley Jr., Jeffrey Beavers, Steven Johnson Jr, and Danya Piersoll. Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Guy & Vera Harris; his brother, Bryant Harris and his grandmother, Minerva Harris.

A memorial service for Marty will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 1:00 PM-3:00 PM  at Zion Hill Baptist Church 1010 Dibert Avenue Springfield Ohio 45506
