Kenneth E. “Kenny” Neal, 56, of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 9, 2022. He was born October 2, 1965 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Emma Heard and Gary Neal.
Kenny always talked about how living life on life's terms, which is defined as the conditions determining what it means to be alive. There are two elements to this condition. 1. Our desires, intentions and actions. 2. The role (and inevitability) of fate. He also spoke about gratitude, which means "Readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness and thankfulness. Kenny was a very kind person and tried to help everyone no matter what they were going through. He wasn't judgmental and lived his life to the fullest. He loved music and was very talented and can pick up any instrument and play. He also loved sports and played in high school.
Kenny loved his life being clean but never forgot what he had gone through to get there. He made everyone feel like family. He has left a footprint in so many people’s lives. He will forever be loved and missed.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Brown and father, Gary Neal; stepparents, John Brown and Mae Neal; brothers, Lamar Neal, Chris Neal, Omari Moore, Stephen Massey and James Holtz; sister, Brea Moore; children, Tanisha Keith, Jonathan Malone, Joseph Malone, Kenny Neal, Silas Neal and Sarai Neal; girlfriend, Chrystal Chitwood, grandchildren and many friends.
He has joined a father in heaven, Floyd Moore and a sister, Hajja Rene Moore.
Visitation for Kenny will be Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
