James Ishman

James Ishman, Jr., 64, of Springfield, Ohio died unexpectedly, August 13, 2023.  James was born January 26, 1959 to the late James Sr. and Dorothy Ishman.

Jimmy had a love for fishing and the Los Angeles    Lakers.  He was a very humorous and funny person.  He also loved bowling, jigsaw puzzles, cars  and watching the games.

James leaves behind three brothers, Timothy, Gary (Christy) and Damon Ishman all of Springfield, Ohio; a very special aunt, Lucy Simms of Manhattan, Kansas; special uncle, Ernest Ishman of New Jersey; three nieces, Katorya (Richard) Hill, Amauri Ishman and Lena Hayden; two nephews, Nick Hines and Darnell Ishman; great niece, Kennedy Hill; five great nephews, Se’Quan Gibson, Malik Hill, Marky III, Isaac and Victor Mullins; a very special nephew, Zymir Ragland and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in which he greatly adored and loved. And the feeling was likewise toward him.  James was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Ishman; maternal grandmother, Lillie Crossley and paternal grandmother, Lizzie Gaiter.

ACelebration of Life service is Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home at 12 noon.
