Geraldine (Riggins) Richmond

Geraldine Richmond, 59, of Springfield, Ohio passed away from this life Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.  She was born October 3, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Will O. and Minnie (Godfrey) Riggins Sr.  Geraldine was a graduate of Springfield South High School.  She retired after many years of dedicated service as a physical therapist and healthcare provider.  Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Jerry Richmond Sr.; daughters, Angela Jackson of Springfield, Ohio, Jaqula Richmond of North Carolina and  Jerrica Richmond of Cincinnati, Ohio; sons, Antonio (Edna) Wilson of Springfield, Ohio and Jerry (Angalique) Richmond Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Jasmine Oliver of Florence, Adjorda Williams of Columbus, Ohio, Shardonay, Lamont, Fred, DeChaunta, Kamaree all of Springfield, Ohio and Kahmari Richmond of North Carolina; sisters, Pattie Threats, Arlean (George) McWhorter, Vickie Russell, Elaine and Phyllis Ann Riggins; brothers, Will O. Jr. and Allan Riggins Sr. all of Springfield, Ohio and a host of other relatives and friends.. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Will O. and Minnie (Godfrey) Riggins Sr.; sister, Helen L. Riggins; daughter, Chaunte Wilson and son, John Jackson.  Visitation is Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in People’s Baptist Church, 2327 E. High St.  Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry-Clark Funeral Home.
