Genevieve "Genny" Pannell-Burnam, 79, of Springfield, Ohio and formerly of Charleston, West Virginia. Genny was born on February 5, 1943 to Robert and Nellie Pannell.
Genny grew up on Wertz Avenue and went to Kanawha County Schools. Genny loved to fish and to be outdoors, that was her calm. If there was music playing she was there to shake a tail feather! Genny loved her family.
Genny was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Burnam; her mother and father, Nelly and Robert Pannell; brothers, Harry Pannell and Robert "Poppie" Pannell; sister, Berniece Pannell; mother-in-law, Louise Cobb; niece, Melissa Thompson; nephew, John Pannell Jr.; great niece, Malechra Pannell and a stepdaughter, Sharron Newby.
Genny leaves to cherish her memory her companion, Nathaniel Anthony; his children, Nathaniel Anthony Jr., Larry Brown and his mother, Rosetta (Robert) Coleman; sisters, Carolyn Pannell Lorraine Hankins; special niece, Cerissa Thompson; nephews, Michael Pannell and Alfonso Pannell; stepchildren, William Burnam Jr., Barbara Ann Morton and Scotty Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
