Clyde Ronald Stephens, passed away in Georgia October 21, 2021. Evangelistic Bishop AKA “the Bishop of the streets” was born in Springfield Ohio November 19, 1955 to Anna and Clyde Stephens Sr.
He and his two siblings, Sherry and Cornell attended Springfield Public Schools and at 18 years old he joined the United States Army.
After the army he received his call to the gospel ministry. Bishop was the proud father of six children, one passed away shortly after birth in Oakland California.
Bishop Stephens was an evangelistic preacher whose ministry affected thousands both in the streets and in the church.
He was a member of Bishop in Rhema Miniseries out of Houston, Texas. Bishop was ordained in Miami, Florida by another organization which he served.
Bishop Clyde Stephens will be greatly missed and always loved.
He is survived by his children, Jerimiah, Korian, Adam, Jamie, and Christina Stephens; sister, Sherry Stephens; brother, Cornell Stephens and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5-6 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Burial will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
