Bonnie L. French

Bonnie Lou French, loving mother, and Ganny (grandmother), was born to William French and Betty Wingo on October 29, 1967 in Xenia, Ohio.  She was called Home on September 15, 2023 after a courageous battle of illness over several years.  She was surrounded by her loving family when she was called Home.

Bonnie was a student at Springfield City Schools and graduated from Springfield South High School.  During her time at Springfield South she was a star basketball player sporting numbers 10 and 21.  She was employed by Wilberforce University for several years and bartended.  She was an avid reader that never met a stranger and always remembered your birthday.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, William French Sr.; mother, Betty Wingo; stepmother, Evalee French; sisters, Elise Mozee and MarLisha Mozee and brother, Fairest Hayes.  She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Ja'Mere (Michelle) French Sr.; grandsons, Ja'Mere II and Emmett; brothers, Bruce Wingo, Fairlond Hayes, Larry (Cheryl) Wingo and William E. French; sisters, Crystal Wingo (Lamar); Violet French, Helena Wingo (Richard); Dollie Wingo and Cynthia Wingo; special brothers, Adrian Gaines and Jerome Herrod; best friends, Mattie Elder and Denita Clark as well as a host of other family and friends.
