Anderson Vaughn Obituary

Anderson Vaughn, also known as "Chicago" & "Pops", sadly passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born February 11, 1961 in Helena, Arkansas and raised in Hayti, Missouri. He was 1 of 9 children of Anderson Vaughn and Lubertha Henderson. Vaughn was an excellent cook who loved to be with his Family and Friends. Later in life he moved to Springfield, Ohio to be with his son, Anderson Williams Jr.

Anderson "Chicago" Vaughn had a very infectious laugh that would light up the darkest room. With all he endured in his life, he never complained. He always offered a hand to others who needed a helping hand, no matter the day or night. He was always generous and kind to others and grateful every day in his life for what he had. He truly walked every day by faith and not by sight.  He will truly be missed by friends and family.

(Brothers and Sisters) Dianne Herrod, Ezell Vaughn, Mary Johnson, Ben Simpson Jr, Dennis Simpson, Corey Simpson, Anthony Simpson, and Sheila Vaughn. He had 30+ grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Vaughn also had many aunts and uncles: Uncle Frank of Little Rock, Arkansas. Uncle Henry, Uncle Roosevelt of Portageville, Missouri, Aunt Mandy, Aunt Juanita, and Aunt Margaret of Portageville, Missouri. Anderson also leaves to morn his passing, a special friend, Lurie Barringer of Hayti, Missouri & a special cousin Milli.
