Allan E. Riggins Sr.

 Allan E. Riggins Sr., 66, of Springfield, OH went to be with the Lord Friday, January 28, 2022.  He was born October 25,1955 a son of Minnie (Godfrey) and Will O. Riggins Sr.  He Retired from J.B Hunt, and loved fishing, hunting, and playing cards.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Reds fan. Allan is survived by his three daughters Tonia, Shauna Riggins; stepdaughter, Myesha Carter; one son, Allan Jr. (Candace) Riggins.

 Allan helped raise Shardonay Johnson, Dechaunte Jackson, Fred James and also Ro’Mero “Suga”, Junior” knot head”, and baby Helen Riggins; a special friend, Ms. Carolyn Walton and Mr. John Robinson.

He is also survived by his sisters, Arlean (George) McWhorter, Vickie Russell, Avalla and Phyllis Riggins; one brother, William O. Riggins Jr . and Keith Ramey. His grandchildren, Kimona Battle Jr, William Thomas 3rd, To’Nia Bates, Allan 3rd, Tre’Mon, Sha’love, Zykel, Kailyn, Zyante Riggins, Zykeria Smallwood; three great grandchildren, Vaniya, Ava Riggins and Triston Jefferson of Springfield, Ohio.

Special nephews, Maceo (Eugenia), Romell (BrieAnne), Marcus, Antonio, Steven (Riggins) Foster, Joe Williams, Robert Howard Jr, Exon, Alante Ramey, and Cliff.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Will (Minnie) Riggins; sisters, Pattie Threats, Helen Riggins, Geraldine Richmond and a host of cousins.

Visitation is Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 12 noon until the time of service at 1p.m. in Life of Christ Community Church.  Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
