On the 8th Day of May 1938 Paul and Essie Mae Young gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in Magnolia, Ar. they named her Zelmarie Young. Through marriage she became Burks. Zelmarie was called home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2015 with her family by her side. Zelmarie Burks was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Miller; her parents, Paul and Essie Mae Young; one brother, O.Zee Young; a nephew, Butch Young; a grandson Ernest Edwards and son-in-law, Ralph Harris. Zelmarie Burks was a very powerful woman who attended elementary school in Fort Smith Ar. she attended Lincoln H.S. in Oklahoma, she continued on in Chicago Il, at Dusable High. Zelmarie had many occupations; nurse, podiatrist assistant, switch board operator, driving instructor and a building manager. Zelmarie had a love for fishing and Al Green, her two favorites! She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When she smiled she could light up a room. Zelmarie leaves to cherish her, two sisters, Doris Young and Kim Davis; three daughters, Sharon (Willis) Whitley, Patricia (Donald) Hooks and Eula (Zerome) Kerby (stepdaughter), her friend of many years, Caroline; grandchildren, Donyelle Miller (Suporia), Dorian Miller, Zelmarie Miller (Reginald), Alicia Miller, Star Pennington (Demetruis), Lori Miller, Tahia (Wayne) Reavers, Tiffany Zerome Chante, Kimberly and Angela, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins,friends and memories. YOUR WATER AWAITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
