On Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 Wilma transitioned into eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She can now rest and be at peace as she joins her husband, Luther E. Hall; her parents, William and Lula Perry; her sisters, Tressia E. Ross and Thelma L. Frazier; her brother, Louis Perry.
Wilma graduated from Broadway High School in Madison, Indiana on May 30th, 1941. During World War II, upon completing training with the Aircraft Training Institute of Decatur, Illinois, Wilma moved to Springfield, Ohio where she worked as an aircraft sheet metal fabricator and welder.
While in Springfield, Wilma met Luther Hall and from this union produced three children: Commodor, Lynne and James. She became a member of Trinity AME Church and served on the Usher and Stewardess Boards. When Luther, passed away in 1963, she became a single parent. Whenever times got hard, she encouraged the family and used to say, "Always do your best. If you do, the angels in heaven can't do any better".
Wilma tirelessly worked 2 to 3 jobs at a time to provide for her family and give them all they needed to become successful. Wilma's primary employment was the Springfield City School System where she ran the Printing Center. She retired in the year 2000 after working there for more than 30 years.
Wilma enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.
