A Life of Faith, Family, and Service

Mom was a loving and devoted mother whose life was deeply rooted in her faith in the Lord and her love for her family. A faithful member of the Church of Christ for more than 70 years, her belief in God was a guiding force throughout her life. She also held a strong belief in the importance of education and encouraged others to recognize its value.

Mom was a fun-loving person who brought joy to those around her. She had a special way of making a difference in the lives of many people she encountered offering help, encouragement, and support whenever she could. Throughout her years she was instrumental in the lives of so many, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, a pastime that brought her pleasure and opportunities to share laughter and fellowship with others.

Her commitment to service and community was reflected in her affiliations with the United Senior Services, the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), the Tuskegee Airman, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Above all, mom cherished her faith and her family. The Lord was the foundation of her life and her family. Her life was a testament of faith, love, learning, service and the countless lives she touched along the way. She will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 10, 202,6 from 11 a.m. until the times of service at 12 noon in the Church of Christ, 811 Montgomery Avenue. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
