Victor Eugene Arnold, 56, of Columbus, Ohio, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on December 8, 1967, in Springfield, Ohio, to Hatti E. Arnold. Victor was a proud graduate of Larkin High School in Elgin, Illinois. Following high school, he honorably served six years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was stationed at Camp Pendleton and served his country in Desert Storm. His bravery, dedication, and commitment to service were an inspiration to all who knew him. After his military career, Victor earned a degree from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, and became a distinguished member of the Masonic Lodge. He began his professional career with Columbus City Schools before transitioning into a successful role as a car salesman in Columbus, Ohio. His strong work ethic and warm personality earned him the admiration of colleagues, clients, and everyone he encountered. Victor was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. His passing leaves a significant void in the lives of those who knew him. Our family has been deeply impacted by this loss, and we humbly ask for your prayers during this difficult time. He is survived by his daughters, Taylor-Marie Arnold of Columbus, Ohio, and Tylor-Marie Arnold, who attends the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He is also survived by his son, Ty-Michael Arnold, who resides in Virginia. In addition, he leaves behind his beloved mother, Hatti Arnold of Springfield, Ohio; his siblings, Vanetta Arnold (Seattle, Washington), Mari Arnold (Chicago, Illinois), Vann Arnold (Portsmouth, Virginia), and Veronica Arnold (Springfield, Ohio). Victor is fondly remembered by his nephews, Eryck Arnold (Chicago, Illinois), Jerret Arnold (Chicago, Illinois), and Isaiah Arnold (Washington, D.C.), and his nieces, Ivanna Arnold (Portsmouth, Virginia) and Ja'Naiya Arnold (Springfield, Ohio). He will also be deeply missed by a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Victor had a passion for baseball, billiards, and spending quality time with his loved ones. His unwavering love and dedication to his children, his mother, siblings, and his family were at the core of his life. Victor's presence was a gift, and his legacy of love, strength, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in Greater First Baptist Church with military honors.
