Tyrone Miquel Applin, 44, of Springfield, Ohio departed this life unexpectedly on December 20, 2019. Tyrone was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 29, 1975, the son of Kevin Gibson and Vicki Applin. He grew up in Springfield, Ohio and as a child he attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church with his Aunt Freda Williams and Maternal Great Grandparents, George and Louise Applin Sr.  He attended Springfield City Schools and graduated from North High School in 1995. Shortly after graduating North High School he began working at TAC Industries until 2014.

Tyrone was a very private and quiet young man that always showed compassion toward everyone he encountered. Tyrone had an enormous amount of love for his family members as well as those closest to him.

Tyrone had a love for life and was a devoted, unwavering Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bulls fan for many years.  In Tyrone's latter years, those that knew him, knew just how much he loved enjoying the small things in life. Tyrone would often kick back and enjoy a good pizza (his favorite food) while watching a movie but more than not, his eyes would be glued to a sports channel and enjoying a good game.

He is survived by his mother, Vicki Applin; brothers, John Applin, Theophilus McCoy, Mike Gibson and sisters, Karena Corbin and Porche Hagans. Tyrone had 10 nieces, 1 nephew and a host of many other relatives that will miss and cherish him in memory.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Gibson; sister, Katrina Corbin; paternal grandmother, Thelma Gibson; maternal grandmother, Joanie Applin and maternal great grandparents, George and Louise Applin Sr.
