Trent V. Berrien, 71, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, June 7, 2024.  He was born September 8, 1952, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Melvin and Dolores (Smith) Berrien.

Trent attended Frye and Highlands Elementary Schools and Cedarville Middle and High School.  He graduated from Cedarville High School, the Class of 1972.  He was Cedarville Junior Varsity Player of the Year as a defensive end in 1968 and Varsity Player of the Year, defensive end in 1970, wearing #32.

Trent was employed by Mac Tools in Sabina, Ohio, Portland Cement in Fairborn, Ohio and O.S. Kelly in Springfield, Ohio.

His memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted mother, Dolores and his two brothers, Todd Berrien and Eric Berrien.  He is also survived by other family members and friends and his one and only girlfriend, Bonita Carr.  He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Berrien.

Visitation is Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 11-11:30 a.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be at 12 noon in Ferncliff Cemetery, Garden Niche Mausoleum.  Please join the family for a repast following the service at Top Tier Entertainment at The Buckeye, 126 W. High Street.
