Tammie Yvette Thigpen, 61, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2019.  She was born October 21, 1957 the daugther of Sheila Fleming and Robert Grooms.  Tammie was a resident of Allen View Healthcare Center for 5 1/2 years.

Tammie had various jobs, but her main job was a childcare provider to many children.  She is survived by her loving family, mother, Sheila (Gary) Fleming; father, Robert (Brenda) Grooms; sons, Melvin C. Thigpen and Shamar M. Thigpen; daughters, Kemia Daniels and Katamara Daniels; brothers, Jamaal, Jermaine and Jerrel Fleming, Devin (Dorothy)  Fleming, and Robert Jones; 4 grandchildren, grandmother, Mary Alice Grooms; a very special partner, Donald Freeman and a host of other reltives and friends.  Tammie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eva Monroe Thigpen and William A. Thigpen; aunt, Annie Grooms; uncles, Carvin Grooms and Alonzo D. Thigpen.
