Mother Sylvia M. Mullins, 90, of Springfield, Ohio was called Home to be with the Lord on Monday July 23, 2018 at 11:20 a.m. Mother Sylvia Mullins was born December 12, 1927 to parents John T. Bradley and Maye Charles. She was raised by her father and second mother, Clara Bradley in Pikeville, Kentucky. She came to Christ under the leadership of Bishop Keith. When Sylvia was baptized in the river in Pikeville, Kentucky, she went down and came up shouting and it took two male saints to hold her. She married Jack Mullins and was the proud mother of two sons, John W. Mullins and Timothy D. Mullins. She was employed as a housekeeper for the Rush family, the Raup family, the Curtain family and for the O'Conner family. Sylvia was a faithful member of Church of God MPG of T of Springfield, Ohio where she worked in the kitchen and helped clean the church. She also helped with the BBQ dinners and worked in the missionary auxiliary, sang in the choir and was the pastor's aide. Sylvia was the oldest choir member and president of H.Y.P.U. for well over 25 years. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and taught many of the saints' children. Mother Mullins was famous for her delicious, homemade cookies! Mother Sylvia Mullins leaves to cherish her memory her two sons; one grandson, John Jr., a host of great grandchildren, her brother, Charles (Renee) Bradley of Cleveland, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
