Sherelle D. Gatewood, 64, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and formerly of Springfield, Ohio passed away Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born June 18, 1962 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Herman and Marge (McMahon) Gatewood.

Sherelle was a diva if ever there was one.  She loved family and the family gatherings, music, and getting her hair and nails done.  She was a very sweet and loving person, but she had no problem setting you straight!  She loved her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Marge Gatewood; daughter, Ericka; brothers, George McMahon, Larry McMahon, David Buchanan and Herman "Randy" Gatewood and nephew, Herman "Randy" Gatewood Jr. 

Sherelle leaves to cherish her memory her life partner, Thomas Wallace; her children, Nesha (Quenta Sr.), Aaron (Kiiesha), Sa'Ron (Nimareyia) Henderson; god daughter, Charissma Parks; grandchildren, Quynn, Quinlind, Que, Quesne, Quinta "Kiwi", Lil Aaron, Jayonna, Janyla, Dynasty, Anessa, Airyann, Aubriee, Ahkira and Say’Ron; siblings, Sonja (Willie) Gatewood-Ross, Bonita (Lee) Gatewood-Stevens, Clemmie Gatewood-Bren, Edward (Nicole) Gatewood and Paul Gatewood; a very special friend, Sheila Hutchins; special daughters, Rhonesia Martin, LaTosha Johnson and Ronice Colquitt; special niece, Aneka Hayes and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in the Church of God M.P.G. of T. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
