KIDD, Sheila A. (Oliver) 66, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born January 11, 1950 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of James and Courtney (Murphy) Oliver. Sheila was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center where she actively participated in the Hospitality, Pastor's Aide, and Women's Committee; Culinary Guild, Usher Board, and Church of Jesus Young Adult Choir. She retired from Springfield City Schools where she served as an Intervention Specialist teaching those students with special needs and disabilities. Sheila loved shopping, dining out with family and friends, and watching the Food Network Channel and crime shows. Sheila leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband Bruce Kidd, her two children, Stephanie (Jacob) Glover, Frederic (Africa) Oliver, both of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Cheryl Oliver of Springfield; brothers, Greg Oliver of Dayton and Steven (Gwendolyn) Oliver of Florida; special niece Dawn Oliver; special sister-in-law Jennie Murphy; special girlfriends Victoria Greene, Patricia Ham, Wanda May and Jackie Sims; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Howard Murphy and Linda Harris. .
