Shamika D. Higgenbotham -Williams, 26, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Shamika was a graduate of Springfield High School, a dedicated employee at Walgreens for 7 years and a member of Shorter Hope AME Church. Her love for animals and Batman were unmatched. Shamika loved spending time with family and friends and lived her life to the fullest. Shamika will always be remembered for her infectious smile, her sense of humor and always going over and above what was asked of her.
Shamilka leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Donna Higgenbothem -Williams; sister, Joyce (James) McDuffie of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers, J. Eric (Tonya) Higgenbotham and Chris (Nicki) Williams of Springfield, Ohio; nieces, Jackie Williams of Cleveland, Ohio, Jocelyn Higgenbotham and Erica Higgenbotham of Springfield, Ohio; nephews, Sean Early of Cleveland, Ohio, Jalen Wood, Derek Williams and John Higgenbotham of Springfield, Ohio; special cousins, Richard West of Florence, Kentucky, Lenny West and Sheri West of Springfield, Ohio; aunts, Geraldine Martin and Dianne Higgenbotham -West of Springfield, Ohio; extended family Charlene and Alaisha Johnson of Springfield, Ohio; special friends, Greg Perkins II, Tanesha Bishop, Katie Lou, Tiffany Levering and Michelle Randles. Shamika was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Marie Higgenbotham.
