Sanford D. Mebane passed away July 10, 2020. He was born February 10, 1938 in Mebane, North Carolina the son of Guidner and Louis (Holmes) Mebane.  He retired after many years of service from Navistar International.  He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He is survived by his daughters, Terri Mebane and Mischel Depp; son, Sanford D. Mebane Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn.

Visitation is Friday, July 17, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m..  Graveside service will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery at 12 noon.
