Russell V. Mills Sr., 80, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019.  He was born April 19, 1939 in Yellow Springs, Ohio to Lester and Helen Mills.  Russell served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.  He retired after many years of service as a truck driver.

Russell enjoyed fishing, working on cars and riding his motorcycle. When he could no longer drive a car, he'd be all over Springfield on his scooter.

He is survived by his sister, Lillian "Aunt Red" Williams, children: daughters, Helen Mills (and Larry Humphrey), Darletta Wilkerson (and Ronald Wilkerson II), and Tina Mills (and Kenneth Carter); sons, Russell V. Mills Jr., Vernon Roberts (and Kia Roberts), Vincent Roberts (and Wanda Roberts), Shane Wallace and Justin Wallace; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Russell was preceded in death by his wife, Leanna Mills, parents, Lester and Helen Mills, sisters, Betty Pendergrass and Norma Jean Gaines.

Visitation is Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry-Clark Funeral Home.
