Ronald Leamon Turner, 73, went home to be with the Lord March 27, 2025. He was born March, 19, 1952 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Leamon and Lenora Lucille (Davis) Turner. He is a graduate of Springfield South High School and     Central State University. He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. First Lieutenant Ronald Turner served in the United States Army. He started his professional career at McNeil Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and at Pfizer Pharmaceutical in the Specialty Division in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a member of the New      Orleans Toastmasters Club.

Ron relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he said, "he met the sweetest person ever" his precious Dawn. Ron and Dawn married and moved to Springfield, Ohio. He retired from Honda Motor Company after 20 years of  service.

He was a devoted husband. He was an exceptional father and role model to his children. He leaves to cherish his precious memory, his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Dawn Turner of Springfield, Ohio, two loving daughters; Nayta Turner of Las Vegas, Nevada, Breonna Turner of Springfield, Ohio; brother, Michael (Vickie) Turner of Cincinnati, Ohio; aunt, Cora Batey of Columbus, Ohio; niece, Cindy Turner, of Cincinnati, Ohio and nephew, Michael (Ebonique) Turner II, of Columbus, Ohio and three grand nieces, of Columbus, Ohio.

He lovingly embraced three stepchildren, Jessica Jones,  Belding, Michigan, James Jones Jr., Holland, Michigan,   Stacy Jones, Springfield, Ohio, thirteen step-grandchildren, special honorary brother, Richard Freeman II of Springfield, Ohio and a host of relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lenora Lucille and Leamon Turner.

Visitation is Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10 a/m/ until the time of service at 11 a.m. in Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
