Ronald Eugene Wilkerson II (Wilkie Roc), age 70, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories. He was born on February 10, 1955, in Washington, D.C., he grew into a man who valued family, hard work, and the joy of bringing people together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darletta Wilkerson; his children, Ronald and Odysyee Wilkerson III, Latrice Wilkerson, and Whitney Wilkerson; five grandchildren, Ronald IV, Xhacaju', and Ziaira Wilkerson, Ni'Jaya Wilkerson-Lytle, and Sincere Wilkerson (Baby Roc); two great-grandchildren, Ronald V and Neoma Wilkerson and aunt, Sondra Wilkerson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudette and Ronald Wilkerson, and his brothers, John Vernon Wilkerson and Rodney Wilkerson.

Wilkie had many nieces and nephews whom he loved as if they were his own children. One of his greatest joys was cooking for family and friends. Known for hosting large, warm, and lively family gatherings, he had a unique gift for bringing people together and creating memories around the table. His 4th of July celebrations were especially unforgettable, as he always put on amazing fireworks displays that family, friends, and the entire neighborhood looked forward to each year.

By trade, Wilkie was a skilled vehicle mechanic, sharing his expertise and hard work with pride throughout his career. He also loved fishing with his buddies, cherishing the time spent outdoors and the brotherhood it brought. His kindness, humor, and love were felt by all who knew him.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father, loving grandfather, cherished great-grandfather, a beloved son, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Wilkie's strength, warmth, and love left a lasting mark on his family and all whose lives he touched.

Ronald Eugene Wilkerson II will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May he rest in peace.

Visitation is Friday, November 21, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Second Baptist Church 615 S. Wittenberg Avenue. Please join the family for a repast after the service at Glen's Place, 1933 S. Yellow Springs Springfield, Ohio 45506.
