Roger "Tony Red" Blanchard, 55, of Springfield, Ohio passed away March 8, 2015. He was born March 9, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Roger C.and Amanda A. (Harper) Blanchard. Roger Graduated from Springfield South High School. He was a people person who never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with his loving family laughing, poking fun and fast talking. Roger lived his life his way. His memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted children, Adamma "Deneen" Freeman, Laytoya Herring, Mark McWhorter, Mike Crowley and Tiffany Brydie; three brothers, Donald Long of North, Carolina, Curtis Long and James Bradford; nine sisters, Shela Blanchard of Columbus, Ohio, Rose Applin, Diana Hargrow, Almeda Lawson, Florence Long, Yvonne Cook, Jeanette Long, Elaine Bradford, and Niceta Bradford, 15 grandchildren and a host of special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Roger C. and Amanda A. (Harper) Blanchard, son, Roger "Little Tony" Blanchard Jr., a sister, Mary E. "Punkin" Long and Andre Bradford.
