Rodger LaVern Duncan, 68, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Springfield, Ohio transitioned peacefully in his home February 17, 2025.

Rodger was born December 13, 1956 in Springfield, Ohio.  He relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1976, but always considered Springfield his home.  As a teenager he was a member of the singing group, The Pleasure Seekers.

Rodger was preceded in death by his father, Earl "Nudie" Duncan and mother, Nancy Duncan.  Left to cherish his memory are his son, James Howard; brothers, Earl Duncan of Columbus, Ohio, Frank (Ayisha) Duncan of Springfield, Ohio, Robert Duncan; sister, Susie (Jimmie) Duncan-Hammonds; grandson, Egypt Howard, three nieces, three nephews; favorite cousins, Patricia Sharp and Charles Yancey; longtime friend, Kathy Stigger; lifelong friend, Tony Smith and a host of family and friends.

Visitation is Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
