Robert Crossley, 85, of Springfield, Ohio passed away April 11, 2020. He was born April 5, 1935 in Eufaula, Alabama the son, of Merriell and Lillie Belle (Stanford) Crossley.  He had been employed by Penn Station Railroad as an engineer and retired after many years of devoted service.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Robyn Crossley; grandsons, Jamar Leroy Crossley, Brian Robert Dearmond and Kareem Akeem Crossley-Williams, 12 great grandchildren; a brother, John Edward (Roberta) Crossley; a sister, Lucy Simms and a host of other relatives and friends.. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Emma Lee (Gaines) Crossley; two daughters, Anita Lorrain Crossley and Kelly Lachelle Crossley; 4 brothers, Ellis Jones, Arthur Crossley Sr., Joseph Crossley and Merriell Crossley Jr.; two sisters, Jerline Crossley and Dorothy (Crossley) Ishman.

The final resting place for Robert will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.  A private graveside service will be Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
