Richard Eugene Exon age 61 was born on July 27,1961 in Springfield, Ohio to Phyllis Exon and Ben Exon.

Richard was a 1979 graduate of Springfield South High School. Richard worked for Buckeye Woods as a supervisor for 17 plus years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed playing horseshoes and cards. Richard enjoyed watching sports, loved football was a Green Bay Packers fan. He had such a contagious smile that would brighten up your day when he encountered you.

Richard transitioned from his life on Sunday, June 4, 2023. He preceded in death by his wife Karla Exon, mother, Phyllis Exon, honorary dad, Robert Perkins.

Richard leaves to cherish fond memories and celebrate his life; (2) sons Akil (Lauren) Ragland, Richard (Jana) Exon Jr. (1) daughter Phyllis Monay Exon (Lekian) (2) Stepdaughters, Jamey Bradley and Dawn Bradley, (1) stepson, Steve Johnson. (1) Sister, Diane (Jeffrey) Moore, (3) brothers, Robert (Teddy) Cobb, Jerry Exon and John Exon, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren (1) aunt, Lillian Grisby, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and special friend Cordia Toni Stephens.

Visitation is Friday, June 16, 2023 from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
