Richard (Dickie/Doc) A. Calhoun, 68, of Springfield, Ohio, born to Ms. Willie L. Calhoun and Dickie Scott. departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.  Dickie was a loving and dedicated dad, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin, and friend.  He was known for his quick wit, stubborn nature, love of signifying, and Mike's Hard Lemonade.  Dickie was one of a kind and we thank God we were blessed to have him in our lives.

Dickie is survived by his daughter, Adamma "Deneen" Freeman and sons, Richard "Snuff" Calhoun and William "OZ" (Mikea) Calhoun; grandchildren, Carson, LaNautica, Richard II, Mylasia, Harmony, Kayleigh, Zion, Jaden, Zhiarae, Darrion, William II, Harlem, Jhideja, Bryson, and Zavyier; siblings, Vanessa Hayes and Karolenn "KT" Calhoun, Todd Jones, and George Scott; Aunt Adeliade; special friend, Bonita Maness, and many close cousins and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at The Landing @ Littleton & Rue, located at 830 North Limestone, Springfield, Ohio.
