Rhonda Kay "Katie" Underwood was born October 3, 1958 in Springfield, Ohio.  She was called Home to be with the Lord in Gurnee, Illinois on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 7:35 p.m.

Rhonda was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended Jesus Name Apostolic Church, pastor John Capules in Gurnee, Illinois.

She was a joy to be around and always wore the brightest smile.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Joan (Orr) Ragland Sr.; brothers, Marcus Ragland and Benson Ragland.  Katie leaves to cherish her memory her son, Von Kashif Underwood; sisters, Monica Ragland, Udora Ragland, Alfreda "Buffy" Ragland and Lecretia Edley; brothers, Earl Ragland, Rodney Ragland and Alfred (Jody) Ragland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation is Monday, January 3, 2022 from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. in Greater Grace Temple.  Burial will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery.
