Reuben D. Victoria, Jr., 68, of Springfield passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. He was born January 9, 1947 in Springfield a son of Reuben W. Victoria, Sr. and Anna Lee (Crochran) Victoria. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for over 48 years where he served as Head Deacon, a member of the Prayer and Worship Team, and the Male Chorus. Mr. Victoria was the founder of the Springfield Jets Track Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being a mentor to his nephews. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 52 years, Anita M. (Garrett) Victoria; a daughter, Danielle M. Victoria; sisters, Reda Victoria Wallace, Curlean Victoria Davis (Daniel), Leeann Victoria Johnson (James) and Shirley Brown; brothers, Guy Victoria and Richard Victoria, Sr. (Rosemary); many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; special aunt, Pearl Howard; special friends, William Arnold and Joyce Clay. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Victoria Rice and a brother, Lamar W. Victoria.
