Reginald Lamar Kidd was born in Springfield, Ohio to Welma and Margaret (Mitchell) Kidd on August 21, 1955. He was called home to his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on January 1, 2015. "Reggie", as family and friends lovingly knew him, resided in Dayton, Ohio for more than 30 years. Reggie attended South High School and was baptized at an early age at People's Baptist Church. Reggie most recently attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church located in Dayton, Ohio. Reggie was employed by Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 20 years. He was most recently employed by General Electric and CareSource. Reggie leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, LaKisha Kidd; the mother of his daughter, Cheryl Kidd; three grandchildren, Shianne Kidd, Arion Jones and Kaden Deatherage; his mother, Margaret Kidd Scott; 4 sisters, Yvonne "Sweetpea" (Clayton) Owens, Beverly (Howard) Crowley, Sharon Davis and Risé Kidd, two uncles, one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his best friend, Gary Jackson. Reggie was preceded in death by his father, Welma Kidd and a niece, Michelle "Danny" Owens.
