Chilton, Paul D., 70, of Springfield, OH, passed on Friday, November 16, 2018. He was born on July 24, 1948 in Springfield, OH, the son of James E. and Susie (Dillard) Chilton. Paul married his best friend Joyce (Lewis) Chilton, on June 24, 1978. He retired from Navistar. He loved fishing, remodeling houses, and building furniture. He had a passionate interest in local politics and was known for his love of landscaping and cooking. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; children, Ronald "RJ" (Laura) Gordon, Sandy Anderson, and Cindy Lawson; siblings, Donald (Karen) Chilton, Lee (Bruce) Chilton-Davis, Marshell (Jackie) Chilton, Marlene Walker, and Alfred (Diane) Chilton of Buford, GA; grandchildren Brian Robinson, Jalen Anderson, Adonis and Tianna Gordon, Arthur and Alexandria Lawson, four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Annette "Ann" Hardin; an uncle, Frank (Electra) Chilton of Lima, OH and a host of special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
