CUNNINGHAM (Burns), Patricia Ann 74, transitioned Thursday March 12, 2015. She was the youngest of ten children born on May 22, 1940 to Martin and Emma Evans Burns in Springfield, Ohio. Her parents and six of her siblings preceded her in death, Virgil, Thelma, Mary, Chester, William (Billy), and Maceo. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving sister, Kathryn (Momma Kate) Burns Bronston of Springfield, Ohio and two brothers, Robert L. (Diana) Burns of Fayetteville, NC and Martin E. (Jacqueline) Burns of Columbus, Ohio; four loving children, Kathryn L. (Freddie) Burns Sanders of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sachiko Wilhelmina Burns of Columbus, Ohio, Archie A. (Kristina) Cunningham Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Dr. Patty Cunningham II of Columbus, Ohio; one adopted daughter, Dr. Pamela (Willie) Cross Young; grandson, "Lil Willie" (Willie, Jr.); a special nephew who was like a brother, Martin Dennis Bronston; nephew, Lafayette Bronston; a special niece/daughter, Ruthie Shelby (Little Fawn); nieces, Emma Campbell, and Paula Bronston and a host of great nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was affectionately known as Ms. Pat and Momma Pat and lived her life in Springfield, Ohio where she developed many friendships. She was employed by Springfield Community Hospital for 16 years, was also employed at the YMCA-Early Childhood Department, Miami Valley Child Development Center, Springfield Inn and retired from Meijer due to failing health in 2005. Patricia was known to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. And this is how she would like for you to remember her.
