Ollie Mary Brown, 88, passed away January 14, 2016 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born October 14, 1927 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Reuben and Louise Chaney Sr. She attended Springfield City Schools and was a devoted volunteer at Elderly United for many years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and accepted Christ at an early age. Mrs. Brown loved her church and enjoyed Bible Study and Sunday School. She was a member of the Circle 8 and Mary Chaney Missionary Circle which was named after her grandmother. She attended church faithfully until her illness. While residing with her niece, Marcia Chaney Gross, she attended Little Zion Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. Her memory will be cherished by her brother, Reuben (Ruth) Chaney Jr. of Yellow Springs, Ohio and a niece, Marcia Chaney Gross of Lexington, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Anthony L. Brown.
