Norman C. "Robin" Minney passed from life into eternity on December 13, 2023, peacefully in his home. Norman, affectionately known as "Uncle Norman" by all of the many rapscallions and dandies that entered his home, was born on March 31, 1948 and was married to Lois Jean (Porter) Minney, his wife of 43 years. Norman opened his home and heart to many and always provided a safe haven for his children's friends, friends of friends and family. He retired from BEC (Business Equipment Company) as a salesman, but this was only a portion of who and what he was. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Jean (2017); his parents, Lewis Sr. and Thelma (Embry) Minney; brother, James "Bud" Minney and sister, Sandra "Sandi" (Minney) Wellington. He is survived by his brothers, Lewis "Skeeter" Minney and John "Dr. Peanut" Minney (Lisa); sons, Derrick Alan Minney (Nina), Bryan Jason Minney (Kristy) and Miysan Tyran Crosswhite (Costelethia); his first wife, Ivanona "Ivy" Ash (Derrick Alan); grandchildren, Veronica, Portia (Derrick Alan), Ryan, Jalan, Naryah, Madison, Janiya, Taylan (Bryan), Julius, Josiah, Jeremiah, Joshua, Jillian (Miysan) and a host of great grandchildren (7); as well as a host of loving cousins, nieces and nephews and a multitude of children who called the Minney house home.

A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be held on January 4, 2024 at 5:30 pm at Covenant United Methodist Church, 529 W Johnny Lytle Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45506.
