Monalisa Minor, 61, of Springfield, Ohio was called to her Heavenly home on November 2, 2022 at The Ohio State University Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born January 3, 1961 in Springfield, Ohio to Donald and Dorothy (Harris) Minor.

Mona loved the Lord, her church, her rosery and her red lipstick!  She loved life, her family and her friends   .Mona loved the time she spent with all the ladies in her Life Group.  She always tried to see the best in everyone, saying, "you never know what someone else is going through".  She battled with Sickle Cell disease her entire life, but did so with so much courage.  Mona was a true fighter and was always willing to help anyway she could with Sickle Cell research.

Mona is survived by her brother, John Wayne Mills of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Jan Moore and Dona Chilton both of Springfield, Ohio and many other family members and friends.

She will forever be missed by her cousin, Kim Scott; special friends, Shirley Harris, Toni Johnson, Kathy Channels and all the ladies from her Life Group.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
