Michael D. Taylor made his transition to join his heavenly father on March 7, 2016. He was the eldest of 4 children born to Ms. Thurma "Sissy" Taylor on April 26, 1973. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Luke Baptist Church. Michael was a very kind hearted, loving and giving individual who blessed every life he came in contact with. He was a faithful member of Restored Life Ministries, where he praised the Lord unconditionally. He was known for giving God the praise through dance and playing the tambourine. Michael was educated in the Springfield City Schools. Those who will miss him most include: son, Robert Benton, sister, Gail (Spencer) Jefferson; brothers, Shawn Taylor and Herald Taylor; aunts, Martha Robinson, Doris Portis and Dorothy Trollinger; uncles, Bruce Taylor and Robert "Bobby" Mims;a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends whom he cherished, Delvin Scott and Brian Jones. All of Springfield and his extended family from Detroit, MI. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Charles Fambro Sr. Michael took great pride in his family and friends. Making sure to be the best "whatever" that he could be. He will surely be missed!
