Mary Henderson, 75, of Springfield, Ohio passed away July 9, 2024, at 10:14 A.M. in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born January 8, 1949, in Boligee, Alabama the daughter of Allen and Angeline (Watson) Davis. She retired from Speedway LLC. She married the late Howard L. Henderson on November 21, 1969. To this union they were blessed with one daughter. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of the Restored Life Ministries Church where she served with the Deacon Ministry, Restoration Gospel Choir, Women's Ministry, Hospital Convalescent Ministry, Evangelism Ministry, Publicity Ministry, previous Superintendent of the Christian Education, and Sunday School teacher, as well as a faithful Youth Leader. Mary enjoyed going to church, visiting with friends and family gatherings. Mary was also an active member of the Retirement Set of Springfield. Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Stacy Robinson of Dayton, Ohio; four siblings, Bessie Macklin, Joe Davis, Cedric Davis all of Springfield, Ohio and Tommie Davis of Phoenix, Arizona; one grandson, Devin Glover of Dayton, Ohio and a very special and dear friend, Christine Davis of Springfield, Ohio and a host of loving nieces, nephews and many close relatives and friends. She was preceded by death by her parents, her loving husband, and her sister, Garnet "Sally" Halfacrea. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday July 20, 2024, at the Restored Life Ministry Church where her family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Servant Jermain Maynard officiating and Pastor Emeritus Larry D. Coleman performing the Eulogy. The committal will follow immediately after service. Arrangements are entrusted to the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
