Marlyene Anne Harrison, 83, of Springfield, Ohio transition to Ancestorhood on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 6:02 p.m.  She was born June 10, 1940 in Springfield, Ohio the middle daughter of Charles and Ernestine (Clark) Murph

She graduated from Springfield High School 1956 and on January  20, 1961 married  Eugene Harrison; they were married for 61years.

Marlyene was a civilian employee at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for her whole work life and retired over 30 years ago after 37 1/2 years of dedicated service.

She loved the Lord and enthusiastically directed for many years the Angel Choir with her sister, Charlsey at Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she was a member all her life. She was a Deaconess as well.  She liked to read, travel, sing, and shop!

Marlyene is preceded in death by husband & best friend, Eugene, parents, sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn Robinson and Victor Robinson; daughter, Nicolle L. Harrison as well as a multitude of beloved family members.

She leaves behind three children, daughter, Akhmiri (Holly); son, Christopher Eugene (wife, Camille) Minnesota and Stacy Sharon of Springfield, Ohio; Sister, Charlesine Murph; grandchildren, Zamaya of Minneapolis, MN., Nashwa Bawuah of Columbus, Ohio, Anthony, Adaya, and Amari of Springfield, Ohio and a host of family and friends.
