Mrs. Marcella Sally" White, 63, was born August 27, 1951 to Arthur and Jennitha McWhorter . She was the fourth of ten children and lived with the motto of family first. Sally, Aunt Sally, Miss Sally, Sally Sue, Fu Fu, Agnovia Smith, Crazy Lady, Mother Nature, Maw Maw, Mother, Mom, or her favorite we all knew, "The Baby Girl" was known and loved by many and could always be counted on for having an open home which was that port in the storm for so many. She was that neighborhood south end Mother where all kids were made to feel safe. Her yearly birthday parties were a kind of back to school neighborhood event for all the kids that over time developed into a family tradition. Sally would meet and marry the love of her life September 14, 1968 Willie E. White and to that union four children were born, Willie, James Marcell, Jeannine (Jeff) and Richard White, she would loving refer to her four kids and her husband as her six pack that she somehow kept counting as six even after her family outgrew that number. Sally enjoyed life squeezing joy out of every minute, making you smile..even when she was cussing you out. She was who she was and did what she did, she meant what she said and said what she meant. She gave her life to Christ as a young woman joining The Church of Jesus Worship Center and would later rededicate her life to Christ and was a faithful member of Greater Grace Temple until she became ill. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children, and keeping the memory of her lost loved ones alive. She went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2015. She leaves to cherish her memory her four children, five grandchildren LaJuane, David (Cierra), Dayshia and Bryana White and Demetrius Castle, nine great grandchildren Latazaih, Jesslyn, Ja' Nyia, Kahil, D'Marko, Ja'Leah, David Jr. Taleah. and Mahalah all of Springfield Ohio; Two brother George and Arlean McWhorter and David and Tereasa McWhorter one sister in law Irene McWhorter all of Springfield ; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close neighborhood friends including a very special friend Mr. June Portis. She was preceded in Death by her Parents, Husband and seven siblings, Lucretia (Roland) Smith, Rose, Richard, Arthur, Charles and Martha McWhorter and Doris Williams and loving in-laws Frank and Lillie Mae White.
