Lula B. Jones, 84, of Springfield, Ohio passed away July 14, 2016. She was born August 11, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of Clarence White and Mozelle Gideon. Lula married Robert J. Jones, Sr. and from this union came six children. Lula attended the Church of God Sanctified and was a member of the Mother's Board and Daughters of Sarah. She sang in the choir and was the President of the Young Peoples' Association. She was very active in church and loved serving God. Lula was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and spending time with them. Lula also love fishing and gardening. She grew her own vegetables and enjoyed beautiful flowers. Lula loved to drive, the faster the better. Lula leaves to cherish her memory her children, Teresa White of Tucson, Arizona, Robert (Mary) Jones of Union City, Indiana, Jacqueline (Ernest) Traynor of Springfield, Ohio, Dianne Jones of Dayton, Ohio and Marsha (Kevin) Barnes of Toledo, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Jones, Sr.; son, Charles A. "Chucky" Jones; brothers, Henry Morris, Robert White and William White; sisters, Dollie Baugh and Ada M. Clare.
