Lukner "Lucky" Pierre, 63 of Springfield, Ohio and formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away May 11, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1954 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, the son of Jerome Pierre and Elisa (Jean) André. Mr. Pierre, affectionately known as "Lucky" came to New York several years ago. He joined the U.S. Army. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a fun and loving father and grandfather and enjoy spending special times with all of his grandchildren and their close friends. The special love that he showed was on a different level to everyone, not only for his family but extended to his neighborhood along with his good sense of humor and good heart. Mr. Pierre was a hard working man who loved working and taking care of his family. He will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful and caring man. Mr. Pierre leaves to cherish his memory, his loving children, Katricha Pierre, Brenda Turner, William Bovian and Chanel Bovian; his loving brothers, Jerome Pierre, Jr., Frantz Pierre, Leon Pierre Felix Pierre and Ulrick André; an uncle, Camille Jean; two aunts, Evelyn Cazeau and Olga Jean; his grandchildren, goddaughters, Carlene, Monique and Anatosia, three sisters-in-law and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Phillp Pierre.
